How to apply for PG Admission 2022

Information

  1. The following seats are reserved in each subject for the under mentioned categories as indicated in
  2. For SC/ST :- 22% and 6% respectively of the total seats of the concerned subject. NB. – SC/ST candidates should submit SC/ST certificate issued as per the West Bengal SC/ST (identification) Act 1994.   3. For Persons with Disability :- reservation of 5% seats for PWD within each respective category (SC/ST, OBC-A, OBC-B) & unreserved of the concerned subject N.B.- Persons with disability candidates having degree of 40% and above should submit a certificate issued by the relevant Govt. Hospital.
  4. For OBC-A/OBC-B :- Implementation of reservation shall take effect from the Academic Session 2014-15 as per W.B. Govt. Rules in a phase-wise manner as given in relevant G.O.s and decided by the WBSU Council.
  5. For Other Recognised University candidates :- Selection will be made strictly in order of merit on the basis of percentage of marks for 80% of seats(Category A) for WBSU students and rest 20% of seats (Category B) for other University student.
  6. Relaxation of cut :- off marks for SC/ST/PWD/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates : As per University and Government rules vide Notification No.07/Edn)U)/IU-89/13 dt.2.1.14.
